Still Life is our newest song and heavily influenced by the experience of the global lockdown with an unorthodox song structure, clean riffs and a driving rhythm. The song embraces the feeling of loneliness and describes a social distance from the world which finally leads to a total fuck-you-attitude. Imagine being the only one in the room screaming your brains out to the world but nobody answers.

A while back I reviewed a Willow Ash album for RavensBane Magazine. I really enjoyed it, but said I wished there had been more "Cradle My Sig" style songs on the record. House of Earth: Retrospect scratches that particular itch, even if most of the album is at a slower tempo. Here Guest is playing to all his strengths. The music is heavy, sludgy, and raw with interludes of weirdness and samples that fit the overall feel of the record. The vocals are spot on blackened death-doom screams.
