Incredibly humbled to be included on this compilation with so many kick ass artists. Really tough to pick a favorite but I have to go with Magus Scorpio because I hear a lot of influences of two of my all time favorite bands in Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. Maybe a little Al Cisneros thrown in for good measure. Thanks to Fuzzy for including me on this amazing compilation!

The concept for JPOD is a re-imagining of the 70s-era "Jesus Freak" movement interpreted in a darker sense, characterized by the more infamous cult personalities that emerged between the 60s-70s. As such, JPOD represents a total rejection of New Age spirituality in favor of an unapologetic Christianity (with a macabre twist). Atmospheric with overt implications of unironic apocalypticism, the Gospel message is preached in a smoke-torn, manic howl set to an aural backdrop of dismal psychedlia-tinged Funeral/Stoner Doom. Suitable listening, whether you're attending a wake, or just blazing a fatty. Not surprisingly, JPOD advocates for the legalization of cannabis for medicinal and therapeutic use.

The production is done using a vintage analog setup with old pedals, amplifiers, etc.
